Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PHT

What You’ll Be Doing
 
Reporting directly to the Philippines-based Head of Legal and Compliance, you will serve as the a hands-on legal partner for our operations. You will safeguard the company’s legal standing by overseeing the labor relations engine and ensuring operational integrity. Your key responsibilities will include:
 
  • Review and approve critical disciplinary and employment documentation, including NTEs and Notices of Decision, ensuring full compliance with Philippine labor standards.
  • Provide strategic legal direction to the Labor Relations and Operations teams to mitigate risk and ensure procedural due process.
  • Represent the company in dispute resolution efforts, including SENA hearings and mediation, to achieve favorable settlements.
  • Draft and refine internal policies, service contracts, and compliance materials to support global operations.
  • Lead "Labor Law 101" workshops to empower managers and reduce avoidable labor disputes through proactive education.
 
What You’ll Bring
 
  • Professional Qualification: Must be a Philippine Bar passer (newly admitted lawyers are highly encouraged to apply).
  • Experience: Up to 1 year of experience or internship exposure in labor law, employment relations, or legal compliance.
  • Legal Expertise: Solid foundational knowledge of Philippine labor laws and DOLE regulations.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to "translate" complex legal jargon into simple, actionable advice for business leaders.
  • Resilience: A calm demeanor under pressure and the ethical fortitude to stand firm on due process.
 
Bonus Points For
 
  • Industry Experience: Prior exposure to Employer of Record (EOR) or remote staffing environments.
  • Litigation Exposure: Experience or strong interest in NLRC proceedings and administrative case handling.
  • Tech Savviness: Openness to adopting AI tools and modern legal tech to improve workflow efficiency.
